Unique: that’s what each one of us is. (Well, just by owning a unique Lilù bag, obviously.)
All of our bags are, indeed, thought, designed and sewed just once. They are realized through what we call the Lilù-method. The latter consists in selecting high-quality stocked fabrics which have been discarded by other businesses because they weren’t needed anymore, then, when cutting the bags’ outlines, we save all the wasted pieces generated. The “wastes” are ultimately readjusted in order to become part of another bag, which generates other scraps that, in turn, we save, and are then used for the next bag… and so on.
This is useful for three reasons:

  • We reuse high-quality fabrics that were neglected (yes, neglected, we’re harsh on business throwing away fabrics :/ )
  • We waste the least possible
  • We obtain unique bags
  • The mess in our laboratory is legitimized by the excuse that we don’t throw anything away. (This is the main reason.)
